  19. York's Tiffany & Co.? Probably not--and that status is unlikely
  20. to be affected by Tiffany's announcement of a voluntary recall
  21. for a line of hand-painted china with a lead content that apparently
  22. exceeds federal levels. Sleuths from the private watchdog group
  23. Environmental Defense Fund turned up the excessive lead levels
  24. and confronted Tiffany with the data. The luxury store agreed
  25. to withdraw its Private Stock line. Patrons who acquired the
  26. tainted china can return it for credit against future wildly
  27. expensive purchases.
